3) General
The MOTA-0831-111/MOTA-0855-111 is a low noise RF fiber optical transceiver designed for CDMA, GSM, PCS network and broadband RF wireless applications, respectively. Each module consists of a master and a slave module, the link from master to slave is called down link, from slave to master as up link. In down link a DFB Laser with 1.5um wavelength is selected as transmitter and an analog PD as optical signal receiver, In up link a 1.3um FP laser is selected to transmit the optical signal and an analog PD as optical signal receiver. These modules can be used for 20km applications.
